Don't just take our word for it — see what real customers are saying!
Reply.io is the worst sales tool I’ve used and I’ve tried quite a few. The sequences don’t follow the direction you set. For example, if you set out tasks 3 days apart, it seems to decide randomly when it will send emails or make calls. For some, it’ll run correctly and others will have long delays between steps.
The worst bulk email tool I've used to date. Not user-friendly. Not intuitive. Important features (ie daily limit, embedding links in plain text) are hidden away in obscure tabs. Just a terrible user-experience in general. Customer support also takes forever to respond.
I don't usually write reviews but this is hands down one of the most difficult to use and buggy products I have come across. We have had multiple issues with their system and the support you get is way below par. There are many other products out there that provide similar services. Would suggest avoiding reply.io at all costs.
Cleverly is great, it's a great tool to use when you are not good with B2B biz dev on your own. I have been able to connect iwth several people I don't believe I would have felt comfortable connecting with on my own. Try it out!! My account Manager Andrew is absolutely fantastic and my Customer care rep Reagan is fantastic.
I've worked with Cleverly before and was satisfied with their previous campaign. However, their latest campaign strategy and new offerings have exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!
Usually when you start a new relationship there is a huge learning curve and we don't have a lot of time to learn something new while do our full time gigs. The team at Cleverly has made it simple. Although I am just in the beginning of the process, I am encouraged by the possibilities that I see the platform will help my network grow.
Reply.io is a self-serve cold email automation tool. Cleverly is a done-for-you agency. Reply.io lets you build and manage sequences yourself; Cleverly handles prospecting, copywriting, and campaign execution for you.
Cleverly is better if you want expert-managed campaigns without the learning curve. Reply.io suits teams that want full control over sequences and have in-house SDRs to manage outreach daily.
Reply.io starts at $159/user/month. Cleverly starts at $397/month, fully managed. Reply.io is cheaper upfront, but Cleverly replaces the need for a dedicated SDR — making it cost-effective for lean teams.
Reply.io has basic warmup and spam tools, but users still manage it themselves. Cleverly handles deliverability as part of its managed service — reducing the risk of inbox issues without any technical setup on your end.
Cleverly is ideal for businesses that want leads without managing sequences or hiring SDRs. Reply.io is better for sales teams that prefer a DIY platform with multichannel automation at a lower cost.
